Literature Text

Where are you?
Where are you, my love,
Sailing in the distant lands.

I’m watching,
I‘m waiting,
For you, so far away.

You’re further than the sea in front of me,
The sea separating the two of us,
The world between you and I.

You’re so far away, my love,
And I can’t reach.

I’ll be here writing,
Writing in this little book,
Of the days passing,
Of my only simple thoughts.

Of how much I
Miss you,
Love you.
So come back to me,
I’ll be here, for you.

And while I stand,
My heart will slowly,
Freeze in the cold wind.

While I wait,
I will see the years go past,
Not one with you.

But I will wait,
Always wait.
For your return,
My love.

Wrote this in Latin... well, kinda. I fixed it lots 'cause it sucked. I kept forgetting what I was writing half way through 'cause I had to concentrate on the actual lesson... hm...

This poem was so random.
I got this image of this lady waiting on a cliff looking out to the sea. Reminds me of some story somewhere something where she waits forever. Oh, I can't remember. But yeah.
Fits with 100 theme. Yayness.

This is so sad, but also adorable. I really like it.. the best poetry comes when you're not paying attention in class. ;)
